This is probably the most random video project I worked on. “Hey, want to help us with a music video?” turned into me directing, shooting, and editing a music video for Ced Hughes one random, rainy night.
Shout out to Hamilton Perkins for his Nikon HDSLR and the idea to even shoot a video, Satasha Maricruz for being cute and pretty, Richard Perkins for taking a cool photograph that got printed on a shirt featured in the video,Shomi Patwary and Philip Ly for letting us use the Illusive Mediaoffices for one of the performance scenes, and BlackBerry for having such a bright flashlight on their phones.
In addition to all the stuff Rob says below, Melicia is also very cute doe— I mean, look at her smile! Who wouldn’t want to see that plastered all over Karmaloop TV?

Well today is the last day to vote, and you haven’t voted today or for some, haven’t voted at all. I strongly recommend that you support Melicia and cast one today. I recommend this for a number of reasons.
She is by the far the most qualified looking at the other entries. Frankly, she should be number one. She put a lot of effort in this bid and has the most experience.
She has supported many artists from VA and elsewhere just for the sake of promoting potential or celebrating success. This is a chance for many to extend some form of reciprocity. Besides, who wouldn’t wanna see a friend score a nice opportunity. Y’know.
Not only would be a good opportunity for her, it would be in the best interest of many others, perhaps you, to see her win this. Imagine having the same support from Roxy Grey extended to Karmaloop TV. Though its no guarantee, there’s a latent potential for her to curate artists looking for an avenue of exposure. It’s a great platform to be featured.
Its fucking easy, you’re already on the internet liking, retweeting, sharing and so forth. Little effort is required for a couple clicks.
This is the last day for voting and it would be nice to see one last surge in votes for Rox. Countless times she’s supported and promoted things by Illusive Media, myself personally and various other clothing companies, aspiring artists in music, fashion, design, and entertainment. And on that note, thank you Melicia for the continued support. After voting, take a look through her blog, roxygrey.com
